Recruited and trained real estate agents for private companies
Advertising consultant for a major real estate company
Individually I sold real estate during these 18 years, including existing and new construction
I chose floor plans , modified them, priced them and oversaw construction in conjunction with draftsman & staff We built both subdivisions and scattered lots.

The book was a result of seeing the mistakes of homeowners because of their unfamiliarity with the
buying, selling, designing and construction processes.
It includes "war stories", some of which are humerous, others are tragic and expensive mistakes.
Among the issues covered are such intra-structure problems as flouride in the public water.
Half of Shelby County systems do not contain flouride and half do.
86% of all Alabama public water systems do not contain flouride.

2008 to 2010 -- Retired
After the real estate and mortgage "crash" I "retired"and spent the time looking for the right product or opportunity.
Upon the recommendation of my wife who had spent 42 years in the building product industry,

2010 until ... Now
I learned about new roofing during my time as a broker dealing with new construction but
about 5% of my older listings needed a new roof in order to sell.
Often this extra expense made it prohibitive for the seller.
I wish I had known about insurance options during that time.
