One main difference in E 2 R learning systems over other "Speed learning" techniques is that the associations have to "Make sense" and are arranged in a logical order.
The "scene" tells a story and people remember visuals and stories much longer than they remember list.

On the side of the souvenir stand are picture post cards of the dam. JQ Adams was the 6th president and son of John Adams the second president. (There are 6 cards on the display rack)
#7 Jackson. The chef is cooking "flap jacks" to give you the name "Jackson"
A spatula is very much shaped like a "7"

#10 The dog with the ribon"tied" around its neck is fo "tyler"
Focus on the objects for a short while and see their logical place in the scene.
Close your eyes and recall the objects in their order
This scene is of a camp ground in a state or national park.
You might find all of these items in such a setting.

The giraffe and her sons are from the parks pettig zoo and they are allowed to roam freely
To the right of the Giraffes is a man and his 4 year old son. girrafe and sons = jefferson
The son wants to go to the souvienir shop to buy somethingbut his dad will not let him - so he is a "mad son" (Madison)
The people are lined up in a row with moey to purchase items at the shop window ( Monroe)
The 6 postcards on the wall of the stand are all pictures of the dam. The remind you to repeat the word " a dam" for John Quincy Adams the 6th president and son of John Adams the second president.
