After your initial meeting with your Authentic representative there are usually 3 additional
meetings before the roof is built.

  Meeting One......

Our roofing and insurance experts will visit to evaluate your roof for storm damage and
they will give you an opinion as to the validity of a claim.

They will then reduce their pictures and findings into a report using the same software used
  by most  insurance companies.

You will be ask to call your insurance company to make a claim .
Some companies will accept our call, others want the homeowner to call.

You will receive a call from an adjuster to set up an appointment to visit your house and
  evaluate your claim.

Get the name and exact time of the visit and call us to be there when they arrive.
We know many of the local adjusters by name, and have worked with them extensively.

  Meeting Two........

Our staff will meet the adjuster on site with our report and assist the adjuster in accessing
the roof and showing them the damage.

The adjuster will talk to the homeowner and give an opinion as to the extent of damage
and their initial decision about the claim.

Some adjusters will settle the claim on the spot but most will follow up with telephone calls
and a written report with an initial check for the depreciated value of the roof.

When the homeowner receives the initial check they call Authentic for the third meeting>

  Meeting Three:
At this meeting the homeowner decides about the color of the new roof and any upgrades
they may want such as ridge vent or dimensional shingles .
The rep and the homeowner discuss the "Scope of loss" as reported by the adjuster.
This report , approximately 7 pages, will give Authentic the exact instructions to follow to
restore the roof to the insurance companies'  standards.

  After the roof is built:

Authentic will process all of the paperwork required by the insurance  company to verify the
restoration.
The insurance company will send a second check to the homeowner to complete payment to  Authentic for the work.
At that time the homeowner will pay also pay their deductible and any upgrades.
