Here is an example of how we take one bit of knowledge and use it as a basis for remembering other items .
The ski lodge and drive correspond to the intestines .
Click Here to see the inside of the lodge.  Rooms will correspond to specific ogans to teach their location- For example kids rooms for kidneys.
When we get to the room with pans (the kitchen/The pancreas) - There will be  symbols to remind us of the enzymes.  After you review this scene and its relations, go to the bottom of the page for more information.

Parts of the small intestine are represented by symbols on the sidewalk
Parts of the large intestine are represented by the circular dirve
The circular dirve is shaped very similarly to the large intestines.

There are three parts to the small intestine.-

1 dueodenum/ 2 the jejunum/ 3 the illum

1-the place where you pay your due bill
2-The june bride
3-The ill person lying beside the sidewalk.

After studying the scene, close your eyes and recall the items. They will automatically make you say the words

 The Large intestine
Remember you are looking at the reverse of thelocation
Follow the symbols from the left bottom where the
  sidewalk joins the drive.
  1- Secum
-There is a sign at the enteance to the lodge that
Says"COME and SEE  . Reverse that and get the name
" secum" a swelling in the right lower abdomen.

   2-Appendix
Attatched to the SEcum is the "Apendix"
Imagine a kennel where people keep their pets while
dining . Many theme parks have kennels at their
  entrance.
Let the kennel remind you of appendix because the
  kennel has "  a pen  !!!"

   3&5 Accending and Decending Colons

The accending and decending drives going up and
down the hill could rremind you of those names but-
you may want to put two hellicoptor pads on either
   side to reenforce your memory
Make a mental note that they are there for patrons as
   their choppers accend and decend.

    4- Transverse Colon
Goes across the upper abdomen near bottom of
    "rib cage"
This part of the drive is where the parking valet picks
      up and returns your "Transportation".

  5- Transverse Colon:
The traffic light corresponds to the transverse colon
   6- The Rectum
The auto accident or "wreck" corresponds to the
       rectum.
RTS systems differs from other association process in many ways.
One is that the scene must make sense in stead of "non- sense" associations.
Another way is that hopefully the scene tells a story.
We remember pictures and stories longer than we remember "Facts"

RTS Systems difer from other "association methods" in many ways.

One way is that the scene must make sense, instead of the "non sense"
associations used by others.

Secondly, hopefully the scene tells a strory.
We remember stories and pictures much longer than we remember "facts".

Some of the items or symbols for thelarge intestine are left out.

It gives you a chance to participate in the imigination process.
One way we learn and remember material is to use it.

Do you own scenes from material you are currently studying.
There are definite tricks and soon we will have a section in the directory to give you pointers on creating good or better scenes

Associatons is one of the methods to teach yourself to focus.
